A great new addition to our shop in East Moline. Introducing our industrial strength Plasma Table!
This Plasma Table will increase productivity and improve product quality of all metal products cut at Trackside. With computer controlled precision, rapid fabrication, and fast delivery; the Plasma Table will help significant with many of our engineering projects.
We are pleased to announce the purchase of the former L& M Steel in East Moline Illinois, which was completed in September of 2019. The integration included all of the employees and equipment being moved into the Trackside headquarters located in East Moline, IL. We are excited about the acquisition as it will allow us to provide a wider array and depth of services to our existing and new customer base. See the list below of capabilities from our production machining division.
We are excited to see what this new capability brings to Trackside as well as our new employees!
Meet our new project engineer, Patrick Dierich! Patrick graduated from Iowa State with his agriculture engineering degree in 2015. He will be working from our East Moline facility on a variety of projects. We are excited to see what new opportunities await with Patrick on our team!
On October 18th, we had the opportunity to golf and sponsor a hole at the Northern Iowa Wishmaker’s golf tournament in Cedar Falls, IA. All of the proceeds had benefited the Make-A-Wish Iowa foundation.
With our head of business development and shop techs, the Trackside team was able to help raise over $9,000 for the foundation and escape the office for one day. Our shop tech, Jacob DeBruin, even took home a canoe!
In March 2019, Trackside’s Augusta facility grew out of its 4,500 SQ FT Wrightsboro Road facility and into their new 24,000 SQ FT facility on North Leg Court. This facility will allow for continued business growth, as well as the ability to add more qualified team members. A very special thanks goes out to the Sampson Construction team for all the hard work, long hours, and dedication it took to transform this building.

Hard at work with Trackside’s Bluco Table! By adding this piece to our shop, we are able to maximize our productivity by eliminating the use of tape measures and the time it takes to find a flat surface to weld small items. The Bluco Table helps our welders setup low volume jobs in a more efficient manor. We are excited to see what other projects the Bluco Table can handle!
